Biography
Andrew represents individuals in all aspects of Family and Matrimonial Law including divorce, property distribution, child custody, spousal support, child support, and matrimonial agreements (pre-nuptial, post-nuptial and separation agreements).
Andrew prides himself on being a passionate and zealous advocate for his clients who is not afraid to fight the tough legal battles. His primary focus is to understand your goals and to work closely with you to achieve those goals. In addition to his superb legal research and writing skills, Andrew is terrific under pressure and a true calming force in fiercely contested divorce and custody disputes. In addition to his formidable litigation skills, Andrew understands that reaching a settlement is often his client’s primary goal. He is an excellent negotiator who works tirelessly towards reaching favorable settlements for his clients and is adept at devising creative solutions to difficult settlement obstacles. Andrew is also an extremely compassionate person who appreciates that his clients are going through one of the most difficult times in their lives and often need encouragement, patience and moral support in addition to legal advice.
Prior to joining the firm Andrew was an associate at Weil, Gotshal & Manges, LLP, a large international law firm where he practiced commercial litigation. A member of The Association of the Bar of the City of New York and New York County Lawyers Association, Andrew received his law degree in 2000 from Fordham University School of Law and his undergraduate degree in 1996 from the University of Michigan. Andrew also co-authored an article that appeared in the August 7, 2006 edition of the New York Law Journal entitled, “Maintenance: When Should it End?”
